Well with plans for great weekend, it didn’t quote work, as last time we went Black Rock the weather was mint all week until we decided to leave for the weekend only to be greeted by crap weather DOH!!!!

Ah well with a late leave to Sammy’s house we soon set off to Black rock with half the convoy going without us…. miserable gits lol

After a good day there with only a bit of rain and wind we set up our cars to block it out and carried on avin a laugh specially with only one car blowing up during the day, an astra…… this time not Sammy’s, but Paddy’s astra, which then headed off home for a bit of TLC.

Trouble started at the night when the tide came in that far we had to move but with the closest exit being a no-go after seeing an escort get stuck we headed to the 2nd exit only for everyone to get stuck except for me but Daf’s managed to get out the way but stuck, at least we wasn’t in harms way and who said Nova’s are crap?! :p

From then on it was panic stations all round as dodge’s car got stuck and wouldn’t start, with the sea bashing the side of the car’s, Sammy getting embedded in the sand, and Tute’s getting stuck with his car balancing on his splitter on one corner. With my car being the only one moving I went back and too for everyone and flagged down a Mitsubishi 4×4 which soon had Matty, Tute and a few others out with ease.

With the tide coming all the way in that far, no car even the nova’s would get out… we then waited for the tide to go back out before heading back onto the beach to find everyone and their cars, before getting the beer out and chilling for the night knowing the sea was fucking off and we were safe…..until it came back in the morning just after getting dodges car out 🙁
